Welcome to my site, Jolirose! This is a name I conceived by combining “joli” which is French for pretty, and “rose” which is French for pink. I love France and everything related to French style, old and new. I am obsessed with sewing, and of course, fabric and lace. I specialize in making custom lingerie, garments and also items to make the home beautiful, such as slip covers and drapes. All of my sewing is done in my Jolirose Sewing Studio. Knitting, cooking, baking and traveling are other passions of mine. I love to travel because it opens my mind to other cultures and feeds my creativity. France is my favorite place to visit; I find inspiration wandering through ancient villages in search of antiques, fabrics and inspiration for my sewing designs, and of course, sampling as many croissants, macarons, tarts and cakes as possible along the way.
